 Bakmi Gang Kelinci started from a traditional pushcart over the sidewalk at Jl. Pintu Besi Pasar Baru, in front of Globe Theater (Moyen). It was established in 1957 by Mr. Hadi Sukiman. In 1962, the stall was re-located to Jl. Belakang Kongsi No. 16 Pasar Baru. It was then known as Bakmi Gang Kelinci or ‘Bakmi si Jangkung’ (the tall chap’s noodles) by its loyal customers who have developed a deep likening to the taste of the founder’s (Mr. Sukiman’s) noodles.
 Bakmi Gang Kelinci reached its new phase in 1978. It was moved to a new location which was only 15 meters away from the previous location. This saw the restructuring of Bakmi Gang Kelinci’s management in which it attempts to continue to win the loyalty of its then already large customer base under the earlier management team still led by Mr. Hadi Sukiman.
 Through hardwork and the delivery of excellent services, Bakmi Gang Kelinci successfully overcomes the most challenging obstacles to become a favourite restaurant among noodle lovers in Jakarta. It continues to experience rapid growth in its customer base. To accommodate better services for customers, Bakmi Gang Kelinci extended its opening hours from 07.00 am to 09.00 pm.
 Bakmi Gang Kelinci continues to expand by opening its first branch in 1987. It was located at Jl. Wijaya, Kebayoran Baru, South Jakarta. In early 1990, Mr. Hadi Sukiman appointed his son, Mr. Kenny Sukiman and several trusted family members to assume the responsibility of the business. His choice was right. The business was broadened with the opening of other Bakmi Gang Kelinci outlets across Jakarta. Bakmi Gang Kelinci has become the family pride of Mr. Hadi Sukiman. Today, you can find 8 branches of Bakmi Gang Kelinci spread across Jakarta. Some outlets are equipped with a delivery order service to further facilitate customer needs *.
 In 2006, Bakmi Gang Kelinci opened an outlet at Taman Palem Mutiara Cengkareng as a One Stop Entertainment Restaurant where customers can dine in the comfort of an exclusive facility providing a state-of-the-art karaoke entertainment system. This reflects our commitment to meet the needs of customers as we accommodate for events and social functions while providing them access to an assortment of delicious fine food served at Bakmi Gang Kelinci, including our original noodle dishes.
 2006 also saw the formation of AK Management led by Mr. Kenny Sukiman to continue the legacy of the family business that has brought Bakmi Gang Kelinci. The karaoke facility at the Taman Palem Mutiara outlet was then named AK Karaoke.
Bakmi Gang Kelinci appreciates any opportunities to open new branches in other cities and outside Indonesia. At present, AK Management is working on franchise rights for Bakmi Gang Kelinci. We welcome any investors who share interests in collaborating with Bakmi Gang Kelinci to be part of the growth of our business.
